The Fixman Goldstar Advanced Screws 4x40mmare a premium choice for woodworking and construction projects, offering superior performance and ease of use. Designed with Type 17 super-sharp screws, they significantly reduce the need for pre-drilling, saving you time and effort.

These screws feature self-countersinking cutting nibsand a flat headfor a clean, flush finish. The deep, sharp threadseffortlessly cut through fibrous materials, minimising the torque required to drive the screw into place.

Next-generation lubrication systemensures that these screws require almost half the torque of conventional screws, making driving them easier and more efficient. Additionally, knurled shank ribsfurther reduce installation torque, helping to prevent wood splitting and jacking when joining two pieces of timber.

The Star drive recess(T10 to T30) minimises cam-out and end load, offering twice the drive torque of Pozi or square drive screws. This prevents spinning and fastener damage, ensuring a secure hold.
